Addiction

An addiction is defined as the continued use of a substance or mood altering behaviour despite adverse consequences. Addictions to substances such as drugs or alcohol, and addictions to pornography are quite common amongst people today. Someone you know may be suffering from an addiction, and you could have no idea. Addictions can be mild to severe, but how do you know when enough is enough? Families have been torn apart, relationships destroyed, and even employment or well-being has been sacrificed for addictions. When something like this happens, you know it has gone too far. If you or someone you know is currently suffering from an addiction, please feel free to use the following resources.
